Power outage East end St. Croix

Still no power in Cotton Valley.

The power at Freedom City Surf Board Shop and Grill now has power.

Wapa said on Monday that they would be releasing their plan to restore power to the isolated pockets of STX by the end of the day. They never did. Today Tuesday they said they will release the plan as soon as they have the plan. We can all rest assured that wapa is aggresively planning to make a plan to restore everyones power and once they have the plan they may or may not tell us what it is. It is so urgent to them that they are even working on it for 12 hours a day even 14 hours on some days. The other 10 to 12 hours its not as important to them.

I heard that whats meant by those percentages is that they are feeding 100% of the power they normally feed those lines. Not that 100% of the places on those lines have power.

Not sure though.

As is appropriate after a workplace fatality WAPA has stopped all restoration work for at least 24 hours following the death of a lineman in STT

On 100.3 fm this morning, they listed anticipated dates of electric restoration to all the different estates still out.
It said that most areas should be back 100% by the 20th.

No power.

We just got power back on Yellow Cliff Trail, Cotton Valley.

No power at Freedom City Surf Board Shop and Grill, but open.

We will be coming to see you on Sunday icechipmom. We need a beach day and some Freedom City Tacos.
