Hi,
I get the idea that you folks sometimes have gatherings.
We will be on St Croix the last week of April, first few days of May. Is there anything scheduled that we can come to and meet you?
We'd like to hang around and talk with folks who have made the move!

Hello STXers,
Linda (travelwoman) and I will be on island next week and would be happy to get together with Ric and Cleric (and anyone else) for a drink. We'd love to hear about your experiences and listen to all the relocation advice we can get. We will be there all week and will have a car. If you have a favorite joint you frequent, we'd be happy to meet you.
Right now, we are arriving Monday morning, and going straight to the realtor's office; then we plan on going out touring with him/her on Tuesday looking for a permanent place to stay. Outside of those plans right now, we're free.

My wife Annie and I will be on STX May 3rd through May 9th and would like to meet also.

i will be arriving on STX on april 18 at about 5:30 pm. don't have a return ticket which means i'm not planning to leave. will be available for "get together" or drinks or whatever and would love to meet as many of you as possible, both visitors and residents!

mike, can't wait to meet you and travelwoman! haven't finalized my short term living arrangements yet i. e. hotel, but will PM you when i get it figured out this week. where are you staying while you're here? i figure i need a week to find a permanent place and i'm flip-flopping between the best western and someplace more "local" like the pink fancy. anybody got any suggestions?
