My husband and I want to come to STX for premove visit. Any info on small /cheap hotels/motels. We don't need anything fancy, but in nice area.

Why not tell us all Native Son? That's the purpose of the board to share. Right now rooms are hard to find in St. Croix.

OK...I have a studio condo available at Bay Garden Condominiums, located near Pueblo, First Bank, McDonalds, Subway, and America's Paradise gym...close to town. It usually goes for 500.00 per month, and it is furnished and air-conditioned (includes pots/pans, stove, new fridge, new ac, new kitchen cabinets, microwave.) Bay Garden is gated. Also has a nice swimming pool, laundry facilities, and nice landscaping. Onsite maintenance.

$500?!?!? What a deal!!! If you can find something on STT for only $500/month, you don't want to live there! Haha!

Native Son,
I know of someone looking for a permanent place to live. Her husband works at Hess and she works part time at the Avocado Pit in C'sted. They're currently in a hotel.
