*I have a question. How does one become a property manager/or something similar to that/ of a villa on St. Croix? Who would be contacted? And how?
thanks for any information.

Hello Susan,

Are you asking about property management of vacation villas or do you mean 'house-sitting'?

Vacation Villas -
You can try and get a job with a management company; there are several on St. Croix. They typically manage properties for off-island owners; maintain the landscaping and home, book tourists to stay in them and arrange the visitor's stay, arrange maid service, pool service... If you want to start your own company; I would suggest doing research on how many are already established, for how long, how many clients they have, what they offer... see if there is room for another.

Housesitting - mostly this goes to friends or friends of friends... word of mouth basically.
