Hello All, quick question, I'll be in the Islands the end of next month, job interviews and looking for a place to live. Many postings here have mentioned "Dependable Rentals" for a car and I went ahead and reserved a car for the week I'm on St. Thomas. A friend just e-mailed me some info about "Budget" and they offer the very same car I reserved for $149 less, can anyone explain why the difference and why Dependable comes so highly recommended? I'm all for supporting the local economy if that's what it's all about, just want to know if that's the case here.

Thanks

Linda,
Call Dependable and tell them you found a deal. They will usually help ya if they have a vehicle in stock for your time period.

Thanks but I checked with Budget and they are in fact higher than Dependable, the info I had is accurate and so I'm staying with the local guys, probably would have anyway.
