I have the following references to give potential landlords. Is this suffice? What else besides signed lease, first, last, & deposit is required by a landlord?

* Letter of rental verification & reference from property office (1 year lease)
* Letter of rental verification & reference from another property office (15 month lease)
* Reference from stateside realtor
* Reference from stateside accountant
* 3 personal stateside references

Only thing I've ever been asked for was deposit, first and credit report. Since I was a homeowner all my adult life before moving here, it would be hard to present a rental reference.

sounds sufficient but have you asked the person you will rent from what they need

This is what I ask or as a landlord, along with a rental application form.

There's no standard. Every LL has different requirements. Some require the whole 9 yards and some require nothing but the requisite rent and security deposit.

My repeated experience has been that references don't mean a lot around here, unless they're from someone on island. Money talks instead. If you've got first, last, and security, plus you can demonstrate an on-island means of income, you're in great shape.
