Are there any such properties in STX? Does anyone know of a published listing of such properties? The county that I live in has an online database of all properties and auditor info about them. Is there such a beast for STX?

Check the Avis - they have foreclosure notices and auction notices. I'm sure with a little work you could track down what needs to be done from there. You'd have to subscribe, I don't think the Avis is online....but then again, I don't read the paper much!

You are right Becky - the Avis Newspaper isn't online. I don't know of any regular published listing for repos like a database online. Its a good question, any one else have feedback on this?

Here in Ohio, the list is provided by each county sheriff's website with an optional sign-up email notifier. Speaking of which, does STX have a county? Along the same lines, does it have county offices?

No, none of the islands have any "local" government. All government here is territorial - like state government.
