Teachers Needed The Education Department is seeking teachers in the following areas: Special Education, Foreign Languages, English as a Second Language (ESL), Mathematics, Reading, Social Studies and Elementary Education. Potential college graduates with majors in these areas are encouraged to begin the application process with the Department now and not to wait until after graduation,
Iinterviews will begin in late May and continue through June. Interested persons will be required to present a portfolio and video clips of their student teaching.

We do need teachers. You may need to be persistent in dealing with the Department of Ed. Good luck!

Thanks for the response. After I posted my question I found the information below. I have everything ready to go, so I will be mailing it tomorrow.

Sabrina: Be stubborn with them. If you don't hear from them, call back...and call again. Believe me, you are needed, but you may not get that impression from Education.
