I've been traveling for a couple weeks. Before I left there was a thread here on Sam Topp's radio show. Now his show seems to be off the air and I wonder if anyone knows why?? Did he resign or was he let go?? Thanks for an update.

I actually did see the above thread when it first came out. It doesn't address why Sam isn't doing his show now. Does anyone know the reason? It seems strange that he left after so mamy years with no explanation to his listeners.

The station is under new management. There has been numerous other changes.

Maybe they'll bring some of the syndicated mainland shows back. I liked those.

The new management since April, Alma Francis-Heyliger, has made many drastic decisions that have led to the departure of many past employees. They were unable to reach an agreement and Sam decided to leave. A shame each manager has been able to work with him for the past 15 years+ and this woman after only 4-months cannot work something out with Sam who was essential to the branding of Radio One.

Heard a commercial that he'll now be doing a jazz show on 107.9 FM. I think it airs on Sunday evenings.
