Anyone know a trustworthy screener that will come to my house?

We take our screens to Glass 2000 and they've always done a great job. I deliver them there though so no idea if they pick up from your house.

This would be a great little part time job for someone who is enterprising enough and would be willing to work. When I was in St. Thomas last year I spent two weeks helping my sister in law out by doing a little handy person work, which included rescreening most of her window and sliding class door screens as well as replacing the rollers on the sliding screen doors.

They have a mobile screen repair service here in STT.
I think it is Berry's Screen Repair and will come to house.

I know there's a sign for a screen guy with a phone number on the power pole at the East corner of Gallows Bay and East End road - quite possibly the same guy that used to have a shop behind Gannett HW. I've never used him but if someone wants to drive by and get the number...

When screens 2000 last did our screens we replaced with "pet proof" screens. While our cat eventually did figure out how to destroy some of them they lasted a LOT longer.

Good luck!

Bunkers of St. Croix in Castle Coakley repairs and builds screens. They have a variety of materials and do an excellent job. We always use aluminum screen material rather than the fiberglass because its more durable with pets.

The sign on the road, for 'Screens and More', is Jerry Kantowski. He's on the east end, and will come get + fix screens however is most convenient (a bunch at a time, or fewer, if you don't want all windows open for that long). Good guy. Wish I could give you his #, but just put on your flashers + slow down next time you pass the sign.
