Does anyone know if Sea Tow provides coverage for STX? I looked on the Sea Tow website and saw that they had a franchisee on STT. I sent him an email but haven't heard back yet.

Here is Alan's # 340.777.4869. Give him a call. I don't see why they won't.

Theoretically they do and I bought a membership last Summer. As I understand it though the local operator is out of St. Thomas so there's no telling how long and if they'd really show up due to distance, weather, etc. I've been meaning to call them to confirm if they've done any St. Croix rescues before I renew so let us know what you find out please.

Allen,
Is in the process of puting a boat together for St Croix. They did alot of salvage after Omar over there and he does plan to put a boat there on a permenant basis. I couldn't tell you the exact time frame but it will "soon come".

That's good to hear. Part of our planning for our move to STX involves obtaining a center console powerboat (25-30') to fish from, and on occasion run up to St. Thomas/St. John for the day (depending on the weather, of course). The availability of Sea Tow makes the idea a lot more comfortable.

Communicated with alan via e-mail today. He confirmed that a boat for STX is in the works and should be operational soon. Sounds like full coverage for all three islands.
