Seamstress?

Good morning, all!

Well, the last month has been busy with settling in to my new island home - setting up bank accounts, establishing phone/internet service, buying a car, learning my new job, etc., etc. So far so good and I am confident that my decision to move to STT was the right one. Thanks to all of you who helped tremendously with my pre-move preparations - this board was, and continues to be, an invaluable resource.

Was wondering if anyone knew of a good seamstress? Brought down a bunch of upholstery fabric and would like to have slipcovers made for my couch and loveseat.

Thanks in advance for any leads!

There are upholsterers all over. Check Cost U Less, on the wall next to the exit, there is a small ad for one. There is also a lady somewhere in Smith Bay that does a lot of work for the boats around here, Maybe someone in a marina can direct you.

I will be looking for an upholster-er near/in the subbase area. Will return to the island in November. Can anyone provide a recommendation?
