From what I've read on the web site, VI Cargo only provides shipping services to STX. Is there a company that provides similar services to STT? ......We've used both Crowley and Tropical but this time we're not looking to float that large amount of materials/goods. We're interested in a company that will "receive" the materials/goods, palletize them and then ship them to STT.

Thanks!

Why not allow Tropical to consolidate your shipment at their warehouse and ship to you? Save yourself the fees of the middle man?

Hmmm.....never done that before. Didn't know we could. I'll give them a call to find out details about the process and pricing. Looking for a more "hands off" approach. Tired of consolidating everything in our garage in Southwest FL, loading it into a truck, hauling it down to Riviera Beach, unloading it at Tropical, paperwork, blah blah blah, driving back to the Tampa Bay area. Florida is a VERY long state and the road trip from house to Tropical is difficult to get real excited about. If we had enough for full or even 1/2 container we might consider doing all ourselves but wondering what the options and cost are for smaller cargo. Thanks for the advice for Tropical. I'll inquire.

I use Carib Trans. The local agent in STT is Deliver IT.
