When you ship it's by cubic foot, so shipping 20 pillow would be pricey. Whereas parcel post ships by weight so 20 pillows would be cheap. Also all media items, books can be shipped extremely cheap by media mail with usps, but it is slower like parcel post.

I shipped a bunch of stuff down via VI Cargo in January. It cost me $2.50 per cubic foot and I happened to have a wealth of 12" square boxes available so it was really easy to figure out what all that stuff (that I didn't need) would cost me. Good luck and remember to think many, many times about what all you think you might need. VT

If you can fit it into a box and it meets the requirements then ship it by postal service. It comes to you and you don't need to go through customs. If it is too large then ship it via cargo.

I say, if at all possible ship via USPS. We just moved here and shipped some items that could have been sent in the mail. Would've saved us the headache and it probably would've got here sooner.
