Looking for a short term rental (a month) 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom or studio to rent on mid August. Price range $500-$800 or $900-$1000 w/utilities. Need a place where public transportation is available to commute to Marcelli Elementary School in St. Thomas.

Where is the Evelyn Marcelli Elementary School located? That info would be of help.

I'm not sure where it is but if it is in downtown Charlotte Amalie, try villafairview.com or, if on the east end, try pirate's cove marina.
They offer short-term monthly rentals and are within walking distance to public transport.
Are you coming to teach?

STTResident- The school is located at #4 Haabets Gade. I don't have a good city map... I think it is located downtown Charlottie Amalie.
Onika- Yes I am a teacher comming from Atlanta GA. (my last city of residence) Can't wait to leave this high speed life style behind.

Evelyn Marcelli Elementary School, once called, The George Washington Elementary School, is located by the Western Cemetary. Most folks don't even know it exists, the way it's tucked away up the street from the Vitelco building!
