No, unless you want to be an exotic dancer.

Speaking of which, I hear there's a new strip club opening in a familiar STT location.

Anyone heard about it?

Are you talking of the Old Mill? They did say they would have a gentleman's club after they got the first place going.

Yep.

Scores, I think.
I hear it's really happening- should be interesting.

Someone told me there was a...um..."classy" strip club some time back at Havensight that lasted for all of three months. Is that true?

Yes, there was an "adult" club at Havensight many years ago. If I recall correctly, Cain Magras was instrumental in shutting down the place.

Hello,

Yes there was a recent strip club in Havensight... last year or the year before. I think it was called the Platinum Club and was located just next to Pizza Amore. It lasted like 2 or 3 months. I heard through the grape vine or rather the coconut telegraph that it wasn't all that classy and only had one girl dancing.

The folks that ran Club 75 several years ago had strippers at Old Mill (when it was Old Mill) in the tower area of the bar. I don't remember if it was everynight or a few nights a week. This is like maybe 6 years ago. It didn't last long.

The one years ago was upstairs next door to AL Cohen's. Wasn't bad at all!LOL.
The one next door to Pizza Amore was a couple of years ago and now today they are advertising a new one there again!

Wow... it sounds like they have a hard time getting and keeping one open here. I knew the owners of The Great Alaskan Bush Company that opened one in Phoenix. They couldn't keep a liquor license if they were totally nude... so it became a BYOB strip club, and was quite successful for a while. Maybe Amy can come down with some Vegas friends and start their own show club.

He was Commissioner of Licensing and Consumer Affairs at the time. Funny, he should have frequented those clubs as he lost his job for sexual harrassment! Just desserts? LOL

East Ender,

Don't know much about Jala Jala. I've driven by it tons of times in the daylight hours, but didn't even know if it was open. What's the scoop?

I had to laugh at the story I heard from a business associate in town a few months ago.

He was in his late 20s, early 30s, a very nice suit-and-tie sort of guy. Like some other folks on this board, he inquired locally about places he could go, hang out, have a good time. Poor guy, he genuinely meant "have a good time" in the sense of relaxing and enjoying himself, but the people he asked read a little more into it.

Long story short, they sent him to a place I'd never even heard of, where he was immediately greeted by several prostitutes. He was aghast and hightailed it out of there. He was just looking for a place where he could have a beer and shoot some pool. Heh!

Best,

LR

LR: Hmm, El Cubano? And re: Jala Jala, I defer to someone more "in the know!"

Oh for Goodness Sake, isn't anyone going to just tell this lovely lady that we simply don't have the kind of "shows" here that shr's used to in Las Vegas?

Amye. if you're still reading this forum, you've probably got the message thus far. NO, there is no outlet here for dancers as you know them in Las Vegas. OK?

No, these are in ST. Thomas. If I talk to Scot at Tutto Benne, I will pass your message on.
