I have a living room set that I'm going to need to put in storage for a while. I'd like to cover each piece in shrink-wrap plastic before doing so. Does anyone know of a company on STX that provide this service?

You can buy pallet wrap at Gallows Bay Hardware. I would be wary of wrapping anything in plastic here for storage due to the humidity and possibility of condensation (unless it will be in a climate controlled area),

I think you'd be better off using old fashioned dust covers.

I'd have to agree, when we received our furniture on island that had been wrapped in plastic from the manufacturer some of the pieces had mold on them and I believe that it was the shrink wrap that gave it that "greenhouse" effect.

One more vote for the 'don't do that' column. Cover with sheets, or something that breathes and leave a fan on if you can. Don't pack too tight together, you need air flow. Good Luck
