I am single and was just wondering how the singles scene was. How is the club scene? Are there more families or singles, or an = amt of both?

Which island? On STT the men ex-Pats outnumber the women ex-Pats by about 7-1. Good for the women...not so good for the men. I don't know that there is an actual singlss 'scene' here, but the majority of visitors are couples. I mean, yes, you can find single people in some regular bars, but at any resort bars you will find more couples.

On STX nightlife is pretty non-exsistant; but there are ways to meet people. About that 7 men to every woman ratio....I always laugh when I hear it but the saying goes, 'The odds are good, but the goods are odd'.

lol 🙂 So what do people do on STX at nite 4 fun? Don't they have any nite clubs where people go dancing? In your opinion, of the main 4 islands, has more things to do?

Yeah, I guess it would've helped if I had told you what island.:) Actually, I was looking @ STX. Have you been to the other islands? If so, which is your fav?

You really have to try them on for size - STT is much more "cosmopolitan" than STX, but STX has some great beach bars, lots of good music playing at night, and, yes, some dancing. No real 'nightclubs' that I'm aware of (but I'm not into that). But those great bars usually are all closed by 10 or 11pm. Again, it is off-season and there probably is a bit more during high season. A long-timer on the island told me this is one of the quietest 'off-season' she has seen.
Most people that come to STX fall in love with it. Lots of wide open spaces, rain forest, and beautiful beaches and snorkeling. We are too worn out to stay up late!

No. it is not the same on STX. The women out numbered the men on STX.The odds can be good, but not in this case.

Virgin Island is not big on night life, but on STX there are a good amount of activities. 2+2 is the club for the 25+. The casino, if you can control your spending there. Don't gamble all your earnings. Water activities, site seeing areas. If you listen to ile 95, you can get info. on upcoming nite activities. Have fun!
