Does anyone have any local info on this development?

I google mapped the location and it has no development on it, but I don't know when that last satellite photo was. Are they selling? is there building, etc...

They have a lovely security gate and entryway, but no road from there.
That's as far as they got...been about 2 years since I've seen any movement.

It's been more then two years. At least three years ago I remember a couple coming to see my rental and they said they needed a six month lease because they were going to have a house built there in six months. I was respectful and didn't laugh but tried to hint that things just don't happen here like that especially if they are trying to build a whole huge development.
Basically they started to try to sell plots right when the market in the VIs where going down the tubes. So I honestly don't think anything is going to happen, I would bet the the developer is just trying to unload the land at this point. The gate reminds me of the old Simpson's episode where they had things like the Escalator to Nowhere, etc... They spent a lot of money doing that gate, they tore it down and rebuilt it at one point and nothing is attached. And now they rarely landscape it, it's usually overgrown.
