I. guess it was inevitable, tiimes have changed

They never established a digital presence so that off islanders could read local news, and many years ago they stopped their subscription by mail service (so I had to mail a weekly package to my parents). It was inevitable.

The value of the real estate is far beyond the value of the business as an ongoing concern. Readers are gone, advertisers have gone, skilled labor has gone. Nothing left.
