Delusional BS.
Granted, I didn't watch the whole address but that was my take on what I did hear.

I watched the whole thing. The only moment of reality in the whole thing was the circus music that was played before Mapp spoke

It was something to behold really. After listening to him I have to wonder if he lives in the same VI as we do.

Alternative Reality and Facts seem to be contagious.

He did arrive to give his address in his new armored limousine, however.
That is fact.

Did any of you nay-sayers even read the report of his address in the Source? So I guess you're saying "Let's all be like Puerto Rico and really go completely bankrupt!"
He presented balanced, concrete proposals.

Thanks,
PT

Yes.
I read the Source article.
My comment still stands.

I watched and listened to the whole address and many of the Senatorial interviews afterwards - sounded very much like business as usual - he is not an eloquent speaker and doesn't inspire confidence - it was " I have a plan" when all was said and done.

Same old, same old.

Raise taxes, try to cut back spending.

I've heard it all before and so has the bond market.

The STX chamber met this morning at the Palms and I had to park next to the hotel rooms there were that many vehicles there. Couldn't hear what was said due to poor PA system but the place was packed. A reporter was there so there may be some news as to what was said, depending on the reporter, of course...

Nothing will change in the VI until the people decide to clean house from top to bottom, everybody including the 'Generals and congressperson. A complete house cleansing but we all know this will never happen because to many people have relatives who are on the gov't payroll.
