Still waiting for the return of my cable box deposit....4 months later!
Anyone else have this problem?
I realized yesterday that I still had not received my deposit for my Innovative cable box that was returned and sevice canceled in the beginning of Nov. - 4 months ago, at present time. I called Innovative and spoke with a very nice woman that told me that, Yes, indeed,
I was owed the deposit but due to implementation of new systems at Innovative, she could not tell me when I would have my deposit returned!
Seriously? Is this any way to run a business? You better believe they won't be giving me interest on my long overdue money.
It was bad enough before when they made you wait a 1 month but 4 months going on 5 and still no deposit return is absurd,
even by VI standards.
It took eighteen months to get my telephone deposit and nine months for my cable boxes. If you don't get your money if a few more months file a consumer complaint with the PSA.

I have DISH service but I kept 1 Innovative cable box for local news/limited service then realized I wasn't using it as much as I thought I was so returned it. Quite happy w/DISH service after over 1 year.
I waited 8 months for my cable box deposit and during that time period I spoke with Innovative several times on the telephone, but was just told that they had "new system and it would take time.....". Not sure if it actually worked, or if it was a coincidence, but I went to their website and sent an email after getting no where with the calls. I received my check two weeks later.
Why would you keep Innovative for local TV when the local TV is on DISH?
You better go become best friends with someone in that office so they can expedite your deposit return
