hey everyone,

to all the visitors coming to island, i want you to know that there will be no more full moon parties until further notice. the owners of the cane bay beach bar are being tossed, and this is their final week of operation. there is a lunacy party that is held at sunset grill on the actual night of the full moon, but it is nowhere near as big as the cane bay full moon parties. if you have questions, feel free to contact me.

Hey Adam,
I do have a couple of questions... What do you mean by being "tossed", and do you know who/what will be replacing them?
Thanks

Are you all talking that the Cane Bay Beach bar is closing or just changing hands????? I spent alot of time there while my husband and son dove out of the dive shop behind the bar, I hope it is not closing. Maybe for sale?????? Keep us posted on what is going on, we are planning to move down this year, before our Michigan winter comes back.

No, it's not closing, just changing hands. Although the change has caused some hard feeling among the regulars, who feel the present propriators (SP!!) are being forced out by the owner of the property. It is causing quite a stir.

But, you'll probably won't even be able to tell a difference.

I'd be shocked if the full moon parties don't start up again soon.

Yes, Mr Mosley is putting out the current tenants to rent to a friend of his! Causing quite a stir!

mosler is kicking the current tennants out. there have been a variety of reasons discussed as to why he is doing this. of course, everything down here travels by the coconut vine, so who really knows what the truth is.

the current owners just purchased the business just under two years ago, so they're pretty upset with the loss. extremely nice people who have put a lot of work into the place to spruce it up and make it a warmer atmosphere. word is they're looking into starting up another restaurant on island.

as for the cane bay beach bar location... i honestly don't know everything that is going on. like linda states, it's not likely that the full moon parties will be discontinued forever. probably for a couple of months though. we'll just have to wait and see what the future holds.
