Went to Caribbean Community Theater last night for "Chicago". It was truly fabulous. I posted on the Community Board with more info. Check it out.

Was wondering what everybody did today. Let me guess, something outside? Not me, in fact I didn't venture too far out of my living room where I have an electric heater keeping things cozy...someone told me the wind chill got down close to 60 below this weekend...brr!

Just in case anyone was interested...

Visited and bought some furniture from a friend who has to leave the island. So sad. Watered the garden. Took JJ to a birthday party. Was up all night with him coughing. Off to the doctor with him again today. His 3rd visit in 2 months. Terrible flu virus going around. He gets better and then the coughing starts again.

Hope JJ is feeling better soon! BTW, I shared your pictures with my family and they were quite impressed with the beauty of your island and the water that surrounds it. Again, I thank you for sharing.

Hey yeah, that's funny...but what water? There isn't anything left in the liquid form around here. In fact, it's so cold even my computer froze...

Have a good day guys!

Thanks Teri. It is very beautiful here. I hope you warm up soon. My husband is in the states right now freezing as well. He is still wearing his crocs though, hopefully with socks.

Some day you're going to crash, trw & won't wake up for a week & a half. Had another near miss with 2 tourists on a rental scooter. They're busy gawking to the left, then to the right & nearly ran into the van in front of them plus they're wobbling all over the road. Sure wish they'd outlaw those rentals. Oh, and she was in a bikini with no cover-up & trust me, there was a LOT for her husband to love.

Lots of tourons out and about with 5 ships in.

Took JJ for a chest xray and blood work today. The doctor thinks it is all allergy related. I hope he is right. We took the scenic route home along south shore road. I was truly appreciating the scenery when JJ yelled out cow. "Look mommy a cow". I had to slam on my brakes as a cow walked out right in front of my truck. I came to a complete stop just in time and beeped my horn. The cow wouldn't move. "JJ said I like cows can we pet him". I looked to see if the cow was a bull. It was. I told JJ, "no honey that is a big man cow and we are going to drive around him". JJ said, " I think the man cow is on a secret mission, I said ,yes honey he is trying to re rout traffic".

lol man cow, gotta love it and trade wait till you get to see the fat southern european men in a speedo, now theres a treat.,dougtamjj,i had to do the same for a really slow iguana today, normally they go pretty fast when you approach but not this one,he was in no hurry to cross the road and he held up 2 lanes of traffic.

There's a dog on our road who must have taken lessons from your man cow. Black Lab mix who lies right in the middle of the road and will not move. Hope nobody hits him. Trw, I've seen enough of the fat guys in Speedos to last me 3 lifetimes. 🙁

If you have spent any time in he South of France, then you have to be careful with the fat Speedo wearers - just one more might tip you over the Lifetime Critical Mass Number and your head will explode. Not the prettiest sight on the beach. I understand that Florida is a little risky for Spandex encased man-parts too.

trw - he just knew that was the way to mess up your evening and make you 15 minutes later getting home. A little power is such a fun thing in that kind of situation. He was probably on duty until 3 AM and had nothing better to be doing.

I spent part of my evening tonight letting your other half mix me a couple of drinks to go with my dinner. Good thing he was there because there wasn't anyone else waiting on tables tonight!
