Oh, I got a better one. Take one of those greeting cards that plays music and drop the little music player in the air conditioner vent in his truck. It will keep playing until the battery goes dead and make him crazy.

So I have a 9 thousand dollar order supposed to go out to day all this order needs is one little part that our machinist has to finish. I just get a call from my shop that the machinist just left to go catch his wife who is cheating on him.

y'all need to understand that i came up during the reagan years and for a young gay man those years were bad,we had a president that refused to acknowledge hiv/aids,he cut all social programs,he plunged the country into the social mess it is now,he sowed the seeds anyway,he was a stupid misguided man and his wife was equally guilty

I must own 60 pillows, maybe more, but other than on our personal bed, none of them are king size, except this one stray. I don't seem to have a spare king pillowcase anywhere, so I went to Kmart to pick up just a couple of kings. I couldn't believe $44.79 for a 2 pack of king Martha Stewart pillowcases. Yes, they were 500 thread count, but geez...it's still Kmart!! I'll just put the pillow in the closet until I find a more reasonable deal, or I'll make my own.

Juanita - did you check the new Jaclyn Smith line at Kmart? I price checked some sheets and her line was almost 1/2 the cost of Martha's and they were comparable thread count.

LOL. I've missed so much.
I need to know whose potato salad has egg in it . . . you win!
Tea bags should never be in boiling water. To cheat bring water to boil, turn off heat, add tea bags and steep covered/
Tami, I did not like what happened to you in F'sted and felt the urge to apologize, which is strange. Guess I am starting to feel at home here and cannot imagine racism in my town.
I love how trw can resume his life's story and no one comments . . . serious stuff that;s somehow light too. thank you.
I realize I am getting much better at reading the sky for weather.
I am finally taking vacation days and we WILL do some toursity things!

Had dinner tonight with very cool neighbor who is very much into nature . . . I mentioned not seeing my hummingbbirds and sugar birds . . . well that set him off . .. he said NEVER give Bananaquits sugar (I don't but they like the h-bird juice . . . just as bad so he says) - you are killing them, They collapse while flying across the sea and fall into the water. If you must feed them leave them . . . are you ready? BANANAS. After he finished his meal at Blue Moon he was quite hot (temperature not temper)and went outside to cool off. I am not sure if that was rude or not??? Meal at BM was fine, not spectacular. $180 for 4 . . . two being vegan and no alcohol.

My potato salad has egg. So that settles it. I am not worried about racism only my reaction to it. I am hot as well maybe he is menopausing like me. I think I could heat a whole room in the middle of winter. Should find a way to harness all this heat. Trw, he is light but just doesn't know it. You are totally right about the tea bags.

Good night all.

Hi Juanita,
For your linens check out Linen Source. www.linensource.com
I have ordered thru them tons of times, I just got these nice mattress toppers for our beds here at the Guesthouse and they are real nice.
They have clearance items, that's where I usually shop.
Shipping is between $4.99 and $18.00 depending on how heavy your order is. They have nice tropical bedding which Martha Stewart does not have.
Hope this helps.

There was all kinds of crashing around in the bush last night. Today the mongoose are making a huge racket.

The breeze is nice.

Water trucks going up the hill in Cotton Valley. Some rain last night but not enough.

Juanita, Kmart is always overpriced on their lines. I either shop online and look for a good deal or go to samson house, they are actually cheaper then kmart.

I'm thinking a quick trip to San Juan might be in order. Seaplane is offering $49.50 each way, very limited availability, but if you're flexible....

Found XL mattress pads on QVC for under $13.00 each. WOW! Hit the speed buy button, no go, won't ship them to VI. WHAT is up with that? They aren't down or anything. Happens with QVC sometimes. Some products have ingredients that aren't "approved" by our government (whatever branch handles that). I might ship them to my daughter, and just have her forward them. Seems a lot of doings though for a couple of mattress pads. I like the San Juan idea better!;)

Carlos also has good linens at more reasonable prices. Cost U Less has a limited selection too.

keep in mind to compare the "landed" price (which includes all shipping, handling and customs charges) once it's available in a local store... sometimes what looks like a bargain online is only missing the instant gratification of picking it up locally for about the same once you consider the cost of getting it here.

of course, this is not the case in every circumstance... just something to think about!
