Hello, I know there are no state taxes, what taxes can I count on being deducted from my paycheck?

Thank-you

Peace Peter

Same Federal taxes & Social Security as in the States. We use the same tax forms - the difference being is what's taxed here on local earnings stays in the V.I.

Some income you earn from the States may have to have that portion of the taxes sent to the Mainland but your tax preparer will help with that.

Right on Trade! I found an excellent government website and thats what was confusing me, since I live in PR this last year and will start fresh on STT in 2008 it should be relatively simple. O.K. On to the next redundant question....(L)

cheers,
Peter
