Teaching at Private or Public Schools

Hi everyone, this is a question for teachers who have taught at a private or a public school on STX. What was your experience? How long did you teach there? Do you still teach there? How are the public schools from a teacher stand-point?

I have applied to both private, and public schools (well, the VIDOE). I have yet to hear back from anyone quite yet as it is early, but I'm moving to STX in Christiansted either way this July.

Any stories or advice is welcome if you're a teacher! I've heard a lot from parents of children who went to public and private schools, but I'd love to hear from teachers, please. Thank you 🙂
