I had glass shelves recut after Marilyn at Island Block. You might give them a call & check with them. I don't know whether they have tempered glass. 774-0158. They're back in the area around Percy's Bus Stop.

Really? Well, it's been a long time since I was there! 1996, to be exact. Sorry to hear that. They did a really good job.

Trade,
I must say, you had me cracking up! I dare say that the shelves you had them do was not tempered as I had them do some for me after the hurricane as well. I love your animate chewing gum character, I am guessing it suites you? Wish I could have done a laughing one! Please don't be offended!

Stt07,
I believe Pro Glass will have to order the glass for you as tempered glass cannot be cut after the fact. Make sure you have the exact dimensions you need to give to them to order.

Sherri, not offended at all! I knew the shelving glass wasn't tempered but they had a BIG glass area & thought they might be able to provide it. I'm not a handy person at all so I don't keep up with the places that service those who are. Why did they go out of business? They were sure busy then but it was post-hurricane. I assume Home Depot might have hurt.

Yes, Home Depot was a factor. Many of Island Block workers are now working at Home Depot.
My X is now in the glass part of Island Blocks location and does Synthetic exterior work. Jobs like the Crown bay dock as well as all of the exterior at Yacht Haven Grande, and much, much, more.
