Today I was in Tutu and it appeared something was going on construction wise (gutting the interior) of the old IHOP. Does anyone know about this?
YUMMM, a DunkinDonuts would be awesome!

LOL, it's pretty sad when "the old IHOP" is about a year old and opened/closed within what, a few months??

Sure wish it had stayed in business-- and improved the service, and turned down the blaring gospel music, and opened for business each day by the hour posted on the door, etc.

And quit frying the hash browns in 6 month old grease IF you could get anyone to bother seating you. 🙁

Depends on the owner & the manager. The IHOP was great while the trainers were here but slid downhill after they left.

Even the owners admitted the service was awful!
They also blamed WAPA(if that Pueblo guy owned it, that wouldn`t have been a issue).
And, yes, the food went way down hill.

Ihop was soooo good when they started, when the stateside team was running it, we were OK with waiting nearly a hour to get a seat there!
Giant portions, for $7-$10 a plate!

I miss that Ihop!

They had a goldmine there even with WAPA if they had paid attention to what was going on. The ingredients for the majority of their food couldn't have been cheaper & they could have ridden out WAPA. Other restaurants did with a lot less customers than that IHOP had.

Oh, yuck. The new pizza place in Frenchtown is good, though - the Pie Whole.

I dont know the name of the street (LOL), it runs parallel to the waterfront, behind the courthouse and beside the Federal (?) Defenders Bldg. Right next to Jump Start Daycare.

Looks really really good and I have heard great things about it. Maybe this weekend we will get down there and try it. I will keep you posted!

That would be Main Street. We call that part 'the head of pave street'.
