SO is this the "norm"? I'm always asked in the states if I want help out to my car and I always say no. Between the girls and myself we have enough people to load the car. Would I be disrespecting the workers if I do it myself? I worked as a cashier and bagger for a long time in H.S. and I'm VERY picky about how I load my bags AND how I load them in my car so things don't get broken or squished. LOL! I'm a little OCD that way.

The STX norm is,
Cost U Less, bring your bags or grab some boxes from the box bin. About the only store you can take the cart out of the store.

Plaza Extra & Pueblo, The cart doesn't get past the checkout. If it's more than you can carry, they dolly it out to your car. Tip

I have taken the cart out to the car myself at Plaza before so it is possible but after pushing the cart over that rough parking lot I am more than happy to give the kids a few bucks for taking the cart out for me. I usually tip $1 - $4 depending on the amount.

So what's the deal on STT? I've never had anybody at Pueblo offer to help. The parking lot sucks so much there, I don't even go anymore. Too hard with a toddler. Everybody's helpful at Plaza Extra. But the parking lot there isn't so awful, so I've always just run the cart out to the car myself. Am I doing something wrong? How do you always remember to have small bills with you?? I mean, I know I am a disaster. It's probably not that hard for normal people. . .

When you see the bag-boy bagging your stuff, it reminds you to look for small bills, and if you don't have any, you ask the cashier to change a bill.

I have been approached at Gas Giant by people that want to pump my gas for me.
One guy offered a cure for chikungunya for a small fee.

Truthfully, if I were at a point in my life where I had to carry groceries and ask to pump gas for someone (believe me I came close a few years ago) I would do so. I don't judge. You have to feel for these people being in there situation.
He became persistent with the chick v cure so I told him I was immune.
