I'm starting to think summer+me+vehicle=pain in the B U T T !! :-X Anyway, the automatic transmission in my Jeep Wrangler (think it's an 02) is slipping into neutral at random. It is making a scary whirring noise, too. Needless to say, I find this to be exceedingly unnerving. Right now, it is sitting in a parking lot, but needs to be moved to a nice mechanic who can fix it in a relatively swift fashion (as in less than, say, a month.) Does anyone on this forum know such a person? Thanks in advance for all responses.

776-8685 Milton Sibilly - behind Gottliebs in Contant - has always done great work for me, reliable - ask him if he can look at it for you.

I have a 1996 sanoma pickup, I asked around and could not find any person to rebuild the transmission. I git prices of anywhere from 600 - 1000 plus the kit which costs about 300. Gave up. Ordered a rebuilt trans (650) had it shipped (100) and am having it installed for 400.

I am spending a little more or a little less but will get a new transmission,

Sibilly is a busy guy, but this is the most accurate advice I've ever seen on these boards. He's done everything from Wrangler transmissions to Jaguar transmissions for people I know - low cost and high quality work. Highly recommended.

Confused billd. You got prices from $600-$1000 from the pepole you couldn't find to rebuild your tranny?
I use Budget Super Service Center next door to Budget Car Rental. Does the trick for me. Best body shop in town as well.
