Everyone needs to rain dance. I've done mine for the evening! Who's next?

I am dancing for you. We have not even moved there yet but are still hoping you get some needed liquid sunshine.

Forget the rain dance, go out and paint the side of the house. Wet paint always attracts rain.

And then there was Erika.

We got very little rain and a bit of thunder, starting about 2:30 AM.
Didn't last long. Hope STX fared better and got more rain
Looks like we now have TS Erika to watch.
I may end up with weather channel watching fatigue syndrome if this keeps up!

Getting more thunder and now that it's light out, it looks like we may get more rain as very overcast with dark clouds.

So happy for STX!
Don't think we've gotten that much but we've been lucky to have had what we've gotten so far! May it rain on you all day!

We got .57 since yesterday morning here at the top of Rattan. Not much for all the commotion.

However the most impressive light show I ever seen at 3 AM. Lighting was right over my house as the thunder was almost instantaneous after the flashes.

Had to put the Thunder Shirts on the dogs.

Less than .2" here on STT. Erika is supposed to pass 15-25 miles northeast of STT with winds around 60 mph. Maybe we will get the rain then.

Driving around today it sure didn't look like we got hardly any rain.
It's been overcast but steamy hot and no rain. Hardly a puddle to be seen. (No cruise ships, either.)

Hopefully, Erika will be kind to us with both her rain and wind.
Cost U Less was empty of people shopping.
Guess they stocked up for Danny.

Looks, so far, like STT/STJ will have more of an impact from Erika than STX. Lucky you !:S
