last reports are over 50 killed

No. Like the reported 4 earlier which you "heard" as 44, there are 20 confirmed dead and 50 people still unaccounted for.

"Ignorance", "fight"? :S With all due respect there is something wrong with you if you read into a simple questioning of facts anything remotely akin to levity.

No power at the Container Port since Thursday; you'd think the place where everybody's food, fuel, pretty much anything, arrives on island would have some kind of priority. At least we have generators, but those can't run forever.

STX Marine, in partnership with Paradise Freight, are getting a container to deliver to Dominica. STX Marine is a drop off point as well - their phone number is (340) 773-0289.

I wouldn't believe anything that scumbag John McCarthy writes. I won't even repost his garbage on my VI news parody site.

One thing we can learn from Dominica is "It's only a tropical storm" doesn't cut it. Many people said that to me as I was getting my house and boat ready.

You can't tell with these storms. They change minute by minute.
Yeah, it's a lot of work but better to be prepared for the worst than surprised by it. We can all be grateful it wasn't worse for us, especially on STX.

SO......You guys all have power restored yet?

AandA2VI - saw the same generator you bought here at Home Depot in STT. Too bad they couldn't get it from here for you instead of shipping from PR. Hope your power is back on. Hang in there!
