Does anyone on the message board currently work at UVI? I am moving to STX in April 2006 and am hoping to find a job in research. I am currently an Agricultural Reasearch Scientist in the Mississippi Delta and I am looking for info on research jobs at the University. Any info would be appreciated.

I don’t work at UVI St Croix but I do attend school there, I’m assuming you know about their agricultural program since that’s your field. Did you check the UVI HR website? http://hrweb.uvi.edu/employment/index.html
They have all the open positions posted. Sorry I couldn’t offer more help.

brooks: UVI work is seems to be "who you know", would recommend trying to make personal contacts to see if your area of research is something they are doing. Would you be bringing your own grant money? That would probably help!
