Is it worth shipping my vehicle from the states? It's in great condition and I know it would serve me well but would cost $3,000 to get it here. If I traded it in, would I be able to find reliable transportation on STT for about 3-4000??

Thanks!

if you know it is in good shape I would ship it!
It is hard to find a good car for 3 to 4 K until you get to know people.
The salt is very hard on not only the body and chrome but also the electronics.

While what Terry says is true, from a $$ standpoint, the three grand that you spend shipping it might be better put to use in buying a used car already here...plus, in the event that 'here' doesn't work out for you, you'll still have the car back home, instead of spending even more to ship it back. If you would like, I can do a Pre-Purchase Inspection on the car you choose for only $40. It's been my experience that spending $3k will net you a reliable car here...it may not be pretty, but it'll be reliable. Shipping a car when there are so many already here seems like not such a good idea...to me, anyway. Good luck to you.
