This is why I ask if you are sure this was taken in 1969. I believe it might have been taken quite a bit earlier than that.

I took this recently from mountain top. Not the same angle but you can see the houses. On a clearer day I will snap another at the right angle.

I had it in my files marked as 1969 - if I remember correctly I got that from the web site that has changed.
EDIT:
Ah on the web site you can see the back of the postcard and it has a stamp on it for April 21 1969.

Could be a little earlier, but surely the 60s. Dick Divald was here in the 60s, not the 50s.
