Hi everyone!
I have spent so much time at this Forum that it feels like I know some of you personally 🙂 LOL. You are a caring bunch! Thanks a lot for all your tips & guidance.
A quick question - it seems like there are only 2 short-term rental places on STT and none n STJ. Is it correct? I am planning to stay at the Villa Fairview (8A Catherineberg on STT) for the month of April '07 (my pre-move visit; they say on their website I can cat a room for $800 per month). Is it an OK place?.. Or should I look for something else? Hope to find a permanent place to live (for a couple of years) on St. John. I would rather spend my pre-move stay on STJ but can't find anything short-term there..

I know the owner and you won't find a more sweet, kind, generous, goodlooking, honest, helpful hair challenged, baseball wearing chap on all of St Thomas.

Ronnie is a regular poster on this and other forums. His "Villa Fairview" is a great place for a temporary stay and he'll help you out big-time if you're looking for a long-term spot. "Have no worries, have no fear, Ronnie's place is always here."
Geez, Ronnie, not TOO sure about the description afforded by promoguy when he mentions "hair challenged?" I'd smack him for mentioning that! Over 20 years ago you had some good head fuzz there and so it's receded in time as you' belly get bigger. No prob, gravity rules as we all age and we all love you nonetheless!

Hope he'll have a room for me this April. Will be making reservations tomorrow. Off to bed now. It's almost 5 AM here..
Looking forward to meeting some of you on the islands over this summer.

STT, promo is bald, I have some fuzz, he doesn't!! Our problem is, we share the same birthdays a few years apart so we can genuinely rib each other. Right, old guy?

A friend of mine, Mike lived at Villa Fairview when he first moved here about 5 years ago & stayed for over a year & loved it. Eventually moved into the largest room there. I think I need my sunglasses after seeing the picture above. Glare, you know. 🙂
