Just wondering if anyone on northside, STT, heard the siren?
I didn't at my location above Dorothea Beach.

One of my neighbors was freaking out thinking it was for true! After testing it a few times, someone did finally come on to intersperse the sound of the siren with a message that it was a test. Alana, you should let VITEMA know if you don't hear it today as the objective of the testing is to make sure that all parts of the island can hear it.

I did let them know as if I didn't hear it, you know those condos down on the beach at sea level didn't either. They could have a warning siren set up at the new Dorthea Fire Station for this area.

Had a test here as well. Coastal NC
And I didn't hear it.
Hear blasts when they do test for nuclear evac.
Either warning I guess you run for the hills.

I live 400' above sea level at the the top of La Grande Princesse Hill and 6 sliders were open all day to the ocean (East) side.

I did not hear a thing. Last year I was atop of Hermon Hill 425' above sea level and heard it loudly.

We should be more worried about Propane being stored near WAPA. Anyone in a mile mile and a half of that place should be worried. No sirens will help warn you!

I'm reasonably sure that anyone 400ft above sea level is not in danger from a tsunami.

Anyone living on or just above the shoreline below her probably didn't hear it, either.
