I wanted to drop a quick line on this page to let everyone know that, due to popular island request, a NEW, safe, and exciting activity is now being offered in C'Sted: Fire Poi Classes! For mor information, check out the Community page on this website. The gist of it is that I am a fire dancer (Brittany Dances with Fire) and also a teacher, and have finally decided to offer classes for kids and adults a couple times each week.

Also, in the name of discussion... what other classes/activities are being offered for the community, and how are they doing? I know of Zumba, yoga classes, and even a hoola hoop lady (although I think she may have left island already). Let's use this thread to post times and days of classes and maybe some reviews, too!

The Fire Poi Class will be about an hour long, the first one beginning Thursday, April 21st at 5:30pm at the Gazebo at Fort Christiansted. $10/person per class, and they aren't necessarily sequential, so students need not attend every single class to keep up. Take-home practice poi will be $7 each. There's more info posted on the Community message board on this site.. I'm not sure how much "advertising" I'm allowed to do on this page and I don't want the thread to be flagged or deleted, so that's why I'm directing you to the other page.
