The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority will interrupt service to St. Thomas Feeder #5A on Sunday, May 26, from 1 to 2 a.m. Customers to be affected include the Emerald Beach Hotel, the Island Beachcomber Hotel, the Total Gas storage facility and Water Island.
During the outage, primary lines for the transcloser at Lindbergh Bay sewer station will be temporarily separated from the main feeder lines serving the airport to facilitate electrical work in the area. Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible.
Motorists are urged to drive cautiously in the work area of the sewer station and to follow all traffic directions for the safety of the crews and the public.
