WAPA Question

My husband and I traveled to STT to go to the WAPA office to make sure that we have power when we start our renovations this winter. My question is, we did this in July and still have not received a bill. All power to our unit is shut off at the breaker switch, but I still assumed that I would recieve a monthly service charge. Any information appreciated.

Molly,

You must not have power IMO. Whenever we're not on island WAPA sends me a $5 service bill. I turn off all the breakers when we leave. I would call them, good luck.

If you turned the power on in July, they read the meter in August, followed by the billing paperwork, then throw in the slower than usual mail......it probably is on the way. Still, a phone call to WAPA wouldn't be a bad idea.
