Never take an order from the government without a firm Purchase Order. A Requisition is never good enough.

True - but a PO doesn't guarantee timely payment.

Nothing guarantees a timely payment from the government. They take longer than anyone else to settle up, and that isn't just in the islands.

The GVI actually really isn't too bad when paying its vendors...when you have a PO. If you don't have a PO, you may never get paid. There are exceptions. We make some government agencies pay in advance and others place a big deposit. Not all departments/agencies are the same.
