I've never seen a coinstar on island, but is there anywhere I can take a jar of coins and turn it into cash?

Thanks all~

Kimberly

Same question, but for St Thomas.

Go to Kmart and buy some rollers and put your coins in them. Go to the bank and deposit them in your account. Don't forget to write your account number on the roll. There are no machines around here. In St Croix you may be able to sneak some quarters in at the casino.

I have the wrappers, but would prefer not to bother. Sometimes banks offer the service of throwing them in their machines. If anyone has done this on STX, would love to know!

I have never seen a coinstar 'round here. But that's a brilliant idea. Wish there was. I've been told you have to go to your local bank to exchange coins.

I use Ronnie's idea. I take my quarters from our laundry to the casino and run them through the slot machines. With any luck at all, when I'm ready to cash them in, I have a few left! I think there are nickel slots and penny slots. Don't know about dimes. You would still have to at least separate them.
