Hello Islanders been trying to look-up online the general wildlife in St Thomas, I find nothing except the centepede/gongolas posting here on your message board. By the way tried looking up the gongolas by google and nothing regarding an animal. I see probably an insect, HUH!
My Husband Danny & I will be moving to the island, looking forward to meeting commonly good people.

Gongolos are insects similar to centipedes. We have plenty birds here. Wildlife outside of the few deer you see from time to time is limited to iguanas and mongoose and a few assorted two legged creatures.

Hello,

You can find a write up on flora & fauna in the VI on our sister site at http://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/flora_fauna/.

Cherrishari - I'm sure you will meet a great many "commonly good people"! I surely did, and was blessed for it!!
