Just looking into possiblities of working as bartender/server near Josiah Bay area
I have friends living close by there. Can anyone give me advice ? 25yr old female . How do I obtain working visa? What are the rules , etc. I am coming from Canada.
Just looking for direction as to where to start etc. - I'm hoping to have a place to stay temporary with friends and then something once settled etc.

Thanks

🙂

A simple google search using such topics as "Working in the BVI's", "Immigrating to the BVI's", etc. will bring up lots of links telling you all the regulations & requirements.

For starters check out these websites:

It's highly unlikely that you will be able to get a visa to work in the BVI's as a Canadian.

They have very stringent immigration regulations.

It will help if you have a job lined up with a BVI company that needs your particular job skills - I have 2 very good Canadian friends who have work permits there after jumping through the numerous hoops required.

You are correct. It's just that this forum is for the US Virgin Islands. 😉
