.... A small bombing by the government to entice some fear with all the nessessary medical and bomb squad close nearby? Perhaps this was done only to scare us and casualties weren't planned? Just saying. Seems awfully odd to me....

I see you have decided to reject "club snarky" and instead apply for membership in "conspiracy nut-jobs united front against common sense".

(please feel free to correct me as I'm uncertain if nut-jobs should be hyphenated or not?).

LMAO, we'll played! Na, no conspiracy theorist here. I just don't like to be spoon fed media BS who over dramatisize everything. I can't even watch the news anymore, I never know what to believe. If it was a single person or terrorists, I hope they get caught and placed in a cell with a large explosive. Boom.

Seems like CNN had a premature ejaculation of information. They are now announcing no arrests have been made, according to Boston Police and Justice Department.

None of us do. I miss the days of real journalists, and news anchors with integrity, and multiple news sources. The over-merged media empires that now struggle to fill the 24 hour news cycle with doom and gloom piss me off to the max. Case in point CNN's faux pas in the arrest announcement. What a bunch of wankers.

Thank goodness we still have NPR. Oh, and the crack reporters at the Avis. 😎

I just hope they don't pick some schmo to be the fall guy.

I watch BBC news mostly, they cover the world rather than just local, like all of the major news organizations of the USA.

The Boston Bombings were a terribly depraved cowardly act done by who or what type animal.

How do you know this? You're obviously (from previous threads) 100% about the truth at all times and refuse to believe anything other than facts. Or.... Maybe just when it pertains to animal abuse?

As of 2:45 CNN reports that no arrest has been made.

I like the BBC news as well - the real stuff, not just the BBC America version. Unfortunately BBC.com picked up on the CNN.com arrest report too. What we end up with is one news source announcing what another news source reported based on its 'sources'...

There's around 6 media companies that own everything on TV in the US & they've spread to most of the EU as well, you can watch RT (Russia Today) for some good news, but that's again, owned by the State..

All of TV is agenda and carefully crafted messages, I'm glad I gave it up after my last deployment, nothing like seeing the lies first hand to break the habbit.

LF,
I find it incredible that someone who has to wear the uniform of our countries military, so flagrantly spreads and supports subversive material on the internet. This is a New World Order that's for sure.

subversive? in who's opinion?

I'm flagrantly spreading history, things that actually happen and happened in this world of ours.

Telling the truth has nothing to do with overthrowing a government, it hopefully has a lot to do with improving it.

Oh, btw...

Guess what else was announced on the day of the marathon bombing...

U.S. Engaged in Torture After 9/11, Review Concludes

[...]

The use of torture, the report concludes, has “no justification” and “damaged the standing of our nation, reduced our capacity to convey moral censure when necessary and potentially increased the danger to U.S. military personnel taken captive.” The task force found “no firm or persuasive evidence” that these interrogation methods produced valuable information that could not have been obtained by other means. While “a person subjected to torture might well divulge useful information,” much of the information obtained by force was not reliable, the report says.

Interrogation and abuse at the C.I.A.’s so-called black sites, the Guantánamo Bay prison in Cuba and war-zone detention centers, have been described in considerable detail by the news media and in declassified documents, though the Constitution Project report adds many new details.

It confirms a report by Human Rights Watch that one or more Libyan militants were waterboarded by the C.I.A., challenging the agency’s longtime assertion that only three Al Qaeda prisoners were subjected to the near-drowning technique. It includes a detailed account by Albert J. Shimkus Jr., then a Navy captain who ran a hospital for detainees at the Guantánamo Bay prison, of his own disillusionment when he discovered what he considered to be the unethical mistreatment of prisoners.

But the report’s main significance may be its attempt to assess what the United States government did in the years after 2001 and how it should be judged. The C.I.A. not only waterboarded prisoners, but slammed them into walls, chained them in uncomfortable positions for hours, stripped them of clothing and kept them awake for days on end.

[...]

While the Constitution Project report covers mainly the Bush years, it is critical of some Obama administration policies, especially what it calls excessive secrecy. It says that keeping the details of rendition and torture from the public “cannot continue to be justified on the basis of national security” and urges the administration to stop citing state secrets to block lawsuits by former detainees.

Bush-era torture use 'indisputable,' Guantanamo must close, task force finds

How can you think it is not real???

My brother worked in the WTC when a bomb/truck hit the building in the early 90's. He walked down 80 smokey floors to get out.

My brother-in law worked in the WTC when the planes hit. He was fortunate to get out.

My cousin was a firefighter from Brooklyn who died 9/11 going in to the WTC to save people.

I lived in NYC and went and saw the 9/11 site 2 weeks after it happend....it is real.

One bomber dead and one running after gun battle and more homemade bombs thrown at police in mass.

I give a 100% appreciation to Law enforcement, the military, and the good people of Boston that helped with pictures they had taken. This is still ongoing with one of the bombers on the run.
