Racists. Islamophobes. Corporate cronies. Wall Street insiders. Trump’s administration is already resembling the man himself: vehemently bigoted and devoted to enriching the powerful and privileged. He's not draining the swamp, he's filling it with more deplorables.

Sarah Palin is reportedly being considered to take a position as one of Trump’s top cabinet leaders, specifically, the Interior Secretary of the Department of the Interior. In that role, Palin would be in charge of the country’s natural energy resources and America’s climate change policies.

Yes, a woman who doesn’t believe in global warming, or evolution for that matter, will be running the department in control of our energy resources. Palin is a big supporter of the oil industry and all the money it brings in, regardless of the price the planet will pay, so you can imagine what her agenda will be.

A woman but not one with acceptable views. I wonder if she is a misogynist?

Your a global warming believer ?

hahaha, I guess the mini ice age we are headed into will be a bit of a surprise for you then, eh?

and racist, homophobic, islamaphobic, aquaphobic, attack hellicopter... I'm sure she's all of those things (to some people)!

I've met Sarah, she's not a bad person, reminds me of a cheerleader that never grew up.. I'd say she's about as smart as the average citizen (by which I mean: not very).

at least she doesn't have TOO MUCH corruption baggage ( there's still some white powdery drama connected to her, not sure of the validity of it).

Probably the worst governor alaska had, glad she quit halfway through 😉

Yeah she actually nets Salmon yearly and hunts moose, bear and the like. Cleans, cooks and eats them too. Quite a capable Woman. I like that (tu)

Hopefully Trump offers her a big position like Secretary of the Interior. Maybe then we can get a Bow season open for deer here. 😀

Remember, Sarah ran for as VP with John McCain, who we've since learned is not a war hero because he was captured.

Sarah is not hot enough for Trump.

Now that Nikki Haley has it all going on - dumb as a tea bag and a minority (sort of) to boot.

BTW - I predict two appointments from scrawny old Kansas - Pompeo (CIA) and Brownback (Agriculture). Both fully bought by those sweet old home-state Koch bros.

This attitude is why the democrats have completely lost the middle. There's a purity test that a woman or Minority is only that if they are in lockstep agreement with Liberal Dogma.

Good job Nostradamus, he already announced Pompeo as his CIA pick.

Of course I know Pompeo has been nominated as CIA director. Doesn't make him any less a puppet of the Koch boys. But good that you noticed. You get a gold star.

Excuse me but I don't buy the us and them crap. You're too dim lighted to understand so no need to explain. Better to call names and feel all big. Nostradamus is a very big word.

I hope you're planning to jump the next boat to Texas and are polishing your jack boots. Heil whomever.

Men with small hands are soooo irritating.

Wernt you claiming that you were independent? LOL

It's funny to see the left wingers go unhinged over anything that doesnt follow dogma

Staying in Minnesota with my Muslim Rep. Unlike you I can deal with others that my political beliefs don't mesh with.

If you knew Pompeo was nominated, why predict it? Do you want a cookie?

One should never turn a blind eye to the worst of trump's rhetoric and behaviors, his appalling choices, thus far, for his facist, bigoted, racist,
war hawking advisors and cabinet members.

Bully culture without respect for dissenting voices (liberal conservative black Mexican or whoever the latest "other" is) leads to pointing out differences rather than finding the common. Vilifying others is about dehumanization and finding an enemy.

I fear the US is moving toward discarding the Constitution as an irrelevant document - or one that only gives protections for the chosen few.

We've avoided a military coup so far but we may not be so lucky in the future. The sabers were rattling with Obama but it can worsen with Trump. We've established and let grow out of control a military culture with its own self-supporting systems - a country within a country if you will. We've militarized our police who are now quick to put on the riot gear.

A coup will be made even worse by the strong man who will emerge, the one party idea being touted by Bannon.

These are dark days for all of us. You included - and it has nothing to do with the religion of your representative or for whom you voted for president.

Why do you have a problem with the Koch brothers, but yet you liberals have no problem with George Soros paying all these ignorant kids to protest and not have a clue what they are protesting. That Jack Ass isn't even in the United States, but yet controls this country like a puppet on a string, like your Harry Reed and Mrs. Nancy as well as the democratic party as a whole. But yet you don't hear the conservatives whining and crying about it in the Senate well like Reed and the Koch brothers do you.

By the way, I never heard any of you on here bringing up Obama's home grown terrorist ties like Bill Ayers, but yet every appointment Trump makes they are racist. Typical democratic liberal spin, attack, deflect and ignore.

I am not an experienced bully.

I will have to learn going forward.

Thanks for helping me with this.

It will be a great skill for the next 4 years. Or for the next 50 years if one believes Bannon. I'm all about life long educational opportunities.

BTW Trump was highly critical of the Koch bros during the election and was wary of their money (good). Now he chooses some of their handpicked politicians for important advisory roles. Shifting sand for populists.

Did you read that Bannon seriously compared himself to Thomas Cromwell? Which, by association, compares Trump to Henry VIII. The Tudor court was one nasty place.

Personally, I'm against big money injected into politics of any sort. But I like to wait for proof before swallowing internet rumors, hook, line and sinker. We are able to follow the money for Kochs and Soros through watchdog groups who connect the money to the organizations the big guys fund. So far, nothing to connect Soros to these protests. It's possible, but I'll wait for the proof. If you want to supply it, I'm all eyes.

Furthermore, the "paid protester" rumors have all been soundly debunked so far. It makes me sad that you don't think young people are smart enough to understand issues. As a teen, I protested. When I look back, although the situations were more complex than I saw then, my basic understanding shows I was pretty much on target.

I've heard plenty members of Congress blast Reid over the years, and the Democratic party as well. Sounds like it might help you to expand your news sources to help keep your confirmation bias in check.

The hyperbolic Ayre's ties comment make me laugh. Besides, we get blasted for bringing up trump's contradictory and damaging comments and behavior, that he's made within months, let alone 4 or 15 years ago, because it's "ancient history" or "people can change their minds" (both of which I agree with). It's also funny watching you deflect, then say we liberals do it.

Classic pot and kettle post here. And no soup in the pot, either.

LOL! Unless "dim lighted" has a new meaning I'm not aware of, and "Jack Ass" is a new term of endearment on Urban Dictionary, the irony here is almost too rich.

You do realize that this type of rhetoric, on both sides, contributes highly to the us vs them problem, don't you?

This site is a test for me on how to communicate in today's new reality that doesn't require political correctness.

You know I couldn't vote in 2012 not in the VI, however President Obama would not have been my choice. What I do believe is that he is a good and honorable Man. I am proud that a majority of Americans have come far enough to see past his color to vote for him. When that happened it was a good day for America.
This election wasn't about race or gender and neither was his to a large degree. The pendulum between left and right has been swinging for over 250 years. It's hard for either ideology to maintain control for over 8 years. People are always ready for a change. It's how our Country maintains balance.
I think that Race and gender antagonists are a bigger issue than anything else. Their hate is just as real as anyone else's. We need each other and most folks if left alone will figure that out. Donald Trump was elected fairly by the Constitution. He will govern in a manner consistent with the platform that got him elected. At this point the whinners and left leaning biased media are only destroying their credibility with the rest of the nation. They sure as heck won't change anything in his plan, just reassure him and his supporters that the left was in power for too long.

You cannot retain that balance of power as you describe when, at the highest levels of new thought, there is focused effort to obliterate the two party system.

This feels different - not about the transitional swing between being in power and then loyal opposition. This is not simplistic like left and right, conservative and liberal.

This is scary like the late 60's scary. Shoot people in the streets scary.

Bannon wants regime power for the next 50 years - I've never heard anything like that in my life time. He describes Trump as his perfect vessel.

Trust me, the irony doesn't escape me that he was interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter.

This site is tracking Trump like the one I posted that tracked Obama, good to reference in the future to see how his rhetoric pans out.
