I'll buy every blogger a beer if I am wrong.

I don't think you are wrong at all. Chucky knows where everyone's skeletons are hidden. No one was going to sit back and let her start talking.

I am praying you'll be wrong.
It's too disheartening to contemplate otherwise.

Ah. DeJongh shows his true character: to let criminals serve as elected officials. He is as corrupt as I have always held him out to be.
Blech!

On the bright side, Miss Justice saved a few dollars.

on another bright side - do we get a 2 yr. reprieve before Chucky gets back on the ballots?
Or on the dark side - is she now eligible to run this election?

Still curious as to what happens to bills she authored or co-authored/sponsored during the period the Supreme Court deemed her ineligible to be serving as an elected official?

When was she deemed ineligible to serve in the past?
I only read that she was ineligible to be placed on the 2014 ballot.

And given that, she can still win election through a write in campaign and be sworn in since at that time she is eligible to serve.

Dejongh will get her on the ballot if he wants. He owns the members of the Board of Elections. Three of them work for his administration directly,

Why else would a crooked governor pardon a crooked senator?

Chucky was still serving her sentence when she was elected in 2010. She was wrongly deemed eligible to be on the ballot three times.

Personally, I am amazed at how quickly this unfolded on the notoriously everything-tomorrow islands.

The bright side is that now deJongh has exposed himself. Now no one can deny his true heart.
