Impeach Chucky Hansen?

The appellate court deemed Senator Alicia "Chucky" Hansen not eligible to be on the ballot for senator because her crimes involved fraud. This means she was improperly allowed to run the past two elections and was improperly seated now. But by law, only the senate can unseat her at this point.
What does our blogging community think the senate should do with her? Let her serve out the rest of her term? Or remove her now?
And what thinkest ye of a senator who votes against removing her, or fails to act to remove her?

Let me go first.. I say they call a hearing to remove her now and end this travesty immediately.

They should remove her immediately. Voters need to pay close attention to what those spineless jellyfish do with her.

Now she wants Gov. to "pardon" her!

See: Hansen Seeks Pardon to Stay on Ballot
http://stthomassource.com/content/news/local-news/2014/08/31/hansen-seeks-pardon-stay-ballot

As mentioned, "What a crock!"

Note that not one of those spineless Senators have said a single word on this issue.
Remember also that it is STX that keeps electing her (twice) even after her sentencing and guilty verdict. What does that say about STX's voting population?

And, hopefully, lose al her fringe benefits, insurance and eligibility for retirement packages for those years!

Quite frankly, I doubt that will happen as our spineless elected wonders will no doubt close ranks and stick up for their own, as is the norm.

And why is Gov. John deJongh entertainng a pardon?

Because he's officially been asked to do so.

I bet that if he can, he will pardon her. Call his office tomorrow at 3407740001 and let him know that you would like her to continue to serve as senator with his pardon, or that you want him not to consider her pardon at all.

I heard Gov will be on the radio tomorrow. Maybe he'll save her ass then. Or not.
