Loungestx.
The numbers support belief is stronger than science. However your Abbott and Costello routine made me smile. What you believe does not take away the strength of belief. That's a fact.

You throw the word fact around very loosely, where is the evidence to support your fact. You must define your terms. Belief? Belief in the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Stronger than an Atomic Bomb?

I bet that if an IQ test were required to vote then your numbers would be different.

Rotorhead,
Look it up yourself. We all can't be as smart as you so prove me wrong. "Oh by the numbers". Don't you have to be good with numbers to fly. FACT BELIEF IS STRONGER THAN SCIENCE. You have to use a comedians words to support you argument. You're a joke.

My Father tries to preface his beliefs with the word Fact and he really thinks that makes it so. If that works then, Fact: I will win the lottery tonight!

You always make statements without any facts to back them up. Look it up yourself. Just because you say something doesn't make it true!

Science teaches us how to fly to the moon.
Religion teaches us how to fly into buildings.

Because you can make up anything you want, but the fact that you believe in it, doesn't make it true.

Thanks for starting another religion thread btw.

The Fact is this subject is like cheese........Science is like Jack Cheese.....and Religion is like Limburger Cheese. Religion is never going to be like Science, so it is impossible to compare them.

belief is a choice, science is an actual tangible thing, not an idea.

Saying it's a fact doesn't make it so.

Just because you keep repeating yourself, doesn't make it a true statement.

That is not a fact. A man named Jesus walked on earth- Fact, backed by science. He was the son of God- Belief., not a fact, no matter how hard you believe in it.

I think belief is strong and can be used to back anything, no matter how ignorant and that strength is scary and a large part of the worlds problems. That's my belief, not a fact.

Jamison and others,
Belief can be counted, the more numbers you have the stronger belief becomes. So far the belief outnumbers science. FACT! Prove me wrong. It might help you if you understood the word belief.
